It was opened on 17 July 2017 under Phase Two operations of the MRT Kajang Line.

Station Layout
The Bukit Dukung MRt station has a layout and design similar to that of most other elevated stations on the MRT Kajang line (except the terminus and underground stations), with the platform level on the topmost floor, consisting of two sheltered side platforms along a double tracked line and a single concourse housing ticketing facilities between the ground level and the platform level.
All levels are linked by lifts, stairways and escalators.

Park and ride facility
There are 14 park and ride facilities available for the MRT Kajang Line including 6 multi-storey park and ride (MSPR).
8 of the facilities are owned by MRT Corp and operated by appointed parking operators.
The park and ride facility has 360 car parking lots and 83 motorcycle parking lots. For MRT user, the parking charge is RM4.30 per entry and maximum RM11 per day (overnight charges).

MRT stations of MRT Kajang Line
The MRT Kajang Line is the first line of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project (KVMRT) that began full operations in July 2017.
The MRT Kajang Line spans a total length of 51km and it runs underground for a distance of 9.5km beneath the centre of Kuala Lumpur while the rest of the alignment is elevated. The line has 30 stations of which 7 are underground station and 1 is provisional station (Bukit Kiara).
